You’ve said “I do” — now it’s time to celebrate. And if you’ve already booked me as your celebrant (yay!), having me as your MC is the easiest way to keep things flowing from ceremony to reception.
Here’s the truth: no matter how much your family loves the spotlight, they don’t really want to MC your wedding. They want to relax, have fun, and be part of the magic. That’s where I come in.
As a professional MC and former event manager, I keep things running smoothly on and off the mic — guiding your guests through the night, keeping everything on schedule, and handling all the behind-the-scenes bits so you don’t have to.
What I Do On the Mic
Welcome your guests and set the tone for the evening
Introduce your wedding party with warmth (and a bit of flair)
Announce key moments: speeches, dinner, cake cutting, first dance, and more
Keep your guests informed, entertained, and engaged
Facilitate games, toasts, or interactive moments if you’ve planned them
What I Do Off the Mic
Craft a custom reception run sheet and keep everything running to time
Coordinate with your vendors — venue, band/DJ, caterers, photographer, etc.
Be the point of contact for any on-the-night questions (so they don’t come to you!)
Coach your speakers and help them feel confident
Anticipate needs, fix problems quietly, and keep the energy flowing
Basically: I take care of the little things so you can focus on the big moment
