Community Group Talks and End-of-Life Education
Warm, practical conversations about life’s most avoided topic
When we experience the death of someone we love, it is often during a time of shock and sadness. On top of the grief, there can be a long list of unfamiliar decisions to make, people to contact, and arrangements to organise. For many, this is the first time they have had to navigate any of it.
My complimentary community talks are designed to make those situations less overwhelming. They are warm, engaging, and easy to understand, with space for questions and conversation. Far from being gloomy, these sessions leave people feeling informed, empowered, and even uplifted.
The goal is to start important conversations now, so that when the time comes, you and your loved ones can focus on what matters most.
Sessions are tailored to your group and typically run for 45 minutes plus Q&A, but can be shorter if needed.

“When we first booked Rachel to speak to our group, I wasn’t sure how it would go. Dying and funerals is not exactly a topic most of us want to spend an afternoon on. But Rachel’s warmth, humour, and clear explanations completely changed my perspective. She made the session engaging, easy to follow, and even enjoyable. People left saying they felt more prepared, less anxious, and grateful we’d had the conversation. I’m so glad we invited her.”
