Aged Care and Palliative Care Training for End-of-Life Support – Northern Rivers

Why End-of-Life Training Matters in Aged Care and Palliative Care

Working in palliative and aged care often means being present for some of life’s most significant and emotional moments. While the focus is always on providing the highest standard of care, there are times when staff are called on to navigate delicate conversations, support grieving families, and manage their own emotional wellbeing.

My complimentary education sessions are designed to provide additional support in these areas. They offer practical tools and compassionate strategies that complement the existing skills and training your team already has.

Sessions are interactive, informative, and shaped around the realities of palliative and aged care work. The aim is to give staff more confidence when facing situations that can feel challenging, while helping to protect their own wellbeing. A team that feels supported and equipped is better able to create a positive experience for residents and their families during times of loss.

Each session can be tailored to your facility or organisation and run between 20 minutes and one hour, depending on your schedule.
